Mark wanted to write a word of thanks to all the "Vanatics" for your love and support this past year. As many of you know, about a year ago Mark was stricken with Non-arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy, a condition which has robbed him of most of his vision.

There are some musical groups out there clearly in it for the money, other musicians are into chasing the fame and attention. The great ones are driven by passion; for music, art, life, people, love, and can not imagine a life without song......

Happy Independence Day to all the "Vanatics" (a new term Mark coined for his "fans"). sorry to say, we'll be taking most of the summer off. But don’t worry, we’ll be back recharged and ready this fall.

Mark received a very nice bottle of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon Whiskey as a gift from a very thoughtful friend. The bottle was engraved with WVGs Logo above the rear label on the back of the bottle, and filled with an elegant golden inlay. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

This is no April fools joke. Mark and I spent two weeks in Florida (hunting down Florida Man for inspiration), and in-between the spring break festivities. We wrote a couple new tunes!

After years and years of adamantly refusing (or, actually being asked ) to sign autographs, Mark finally gave in and signed his autograph for a very happy fan.

Mark and I have been going round and round for weeks now. He says we need "new songs" to "keep the show fresh". I say, we play Classic Rock what the hell does "fresh" have to do with 30 year old tunes we've all heard a million times.

New shows added for 2022, this should be a good year. I think we all need one. And for us, this is the first time hitting the stage since 2019. It feels great to get back to playing after being stuck inside for two years listening to Mark ramble on about the Allman Brothers, ways to perfect his chili recipe,...

When we first stumbled upon a nice little doodle from an audience member that shockingly captured exactly what White Van Guys are about, we asked the artist if we could keep it. she drunkenly laughed and said shhhhure!!!

Mark is an extraordinary guitarist with a great voice. Shane is a charismatic man-child with dilutional dreams of rock stardom. Together, they have the talent and showmanship a promoter could only hope for in an Acoustic Rock / Pop / Country / Comedy duo (and kung-fu appreciation variety act).
